This morning we found out that a big snow storm is on the way! Even with our lovely new van we are not really equipped to deal with winter weather. Neither of us have jackets despite several attempts at buying some.
We actually tried six jackets and all of them were so contaminated that we ended up returning them immediately. Sara even tried to find some for us but she agreed that all the ones she tried were also contaminated. I don’t know what’s up with the jackets! Maybe just sitting on the rack all year has given them time to pick up more biotoxin contamination? I don’t know. So many aspects of this illness are so bizarre.
Needless to say, we decided to flee Wyoming and go back to the Rapid City area. The van conversion is pretty much finished anyway. The road trip passed pleasantly and we really enjoyed each other’s company. We talked about our plans for the summer and our vision for the future. For the first time in years, I’m actually excited about what might happen next!
