Day 106 | Family Visit, Take Two!

June 23, 2017

I slept really well last night with the new pajamas and sheets. Yay! Unfortunately, when I got dressed this morning, I noticed that I felt significantly worse: instant pain, fatigue and depression. I decontaminated, changed back into my new pajamas and felt better. No way. My clothes really are contaminated. I guess I just couldn’t tell when I was feeling bad all the time. Being in the pristine air makes it so much more noticeable.

They were freshly washed clothes too! I later tested my other outfits and they were all just as contaminated. I guess I couldn’t tell when I was being constantly exposed to them. Sleeping with new clothes and bedding allowed me to get clear enough to notice.

This is a good example of why those suffering from chronic illnesses can be living in moldy homes and have no idea that it’s affecting their symptoms. If you’re constantly being exposed and then carrying contamination from your home everywhere you go it might not seem like the house has any affect on you. It’s only when you get really clear of biotoxins that you can tell what a difference location and environment makes.

I think that’s what happened to me with the clothes. I guess Sara was right that it was time to replace our entire wardrobe. Good thing our entire wardrobe is only four outfits each! This is exactly why we buy cheap and don’t have a lot of stuff. My own detoxing body can contaminate things. Clothes, especially, need to be replaced often.

Since I had nothing but pajamas to wear we went on an emergency shopping trip to buy clothes this afternoon. It all went smoothly and thankfully, the unwashed new clothes were much better than the washed old clothes. It would have been even better if I could have washed the new outfit before wearing it but I didn’t want to be wearing pajamas to see my family.

Yes! I said “see my family!” By this afternoon, I was feeling 100% again! At least, back to 100% of my own recovering-sick-person normal. Which is getting closer and closer to normal person normal. Let’s just say, I was well enough to help with laundry and do cartwheels. Hooray!

So we decided I was ready to experiment with seeing my family again! I was so excited! We met by the side of one of the not-so-busy roads this evening and took a walk together. I stayed upwind and they followed behind me. We had to shout to make conversation but at least we could be together.

I felt great for the first half of the walk but by the time we turned around to head back to our cars I was starting to feel it. It was subtle at first, my ankle started hurting… then my knee… then my lower back. By the time I reached the van my body felt really heavy and I was starting to limp a little. I decontaminated and we decided to call it a night. I really wanted to keep interacting but I knew I shouldn’t push my luck.

Afterwards, I didn’t know whether I should be encouraged or discouraged. Clearly, I was still reacting to my family even in some of the best air in South Dakota… but I did get to see them! I figured we would have to wait and see how I felt tomorrow.

But I was wrong! After about an hour I was already feeling 90% better. The pain was almost gone and I was singing and dancing while I waited for Brett to heat my shower water. Wow! Yay! This ranch-land air is so awesome!

My theory is that the campground air just wasn’t clean enough to allow me to bounce back after spending time with my family.

Seeing my body recover so much after only an hour on the ranch gives me a lot of hope! I think I could keep spending time with my family as long as I stop when I start going downhill. I’m so glad we figured this out before my family had to head back home. I was so worried I wouldn’t be able to see them at all!

๐Ÿ˜Š Yes I did. Brett chopped it off for me. I didn’t really want to do it but I thought it might help reduce the total load of contamination on my body since hair hangs onto mycotoxins. It looks better than I expected. Haha.

We have successfully decontaminated clothes with an infrared Brooder Light. Sounds crazy but it really works! I used to have to get rid of clothes all the time but not anymoreโ˜บ.
