Day 93 | Plugging Away

June 10, 2017

This morning I slept in until 10:30am! At first, I freaked out about all the work I should have been doing but then I realized that my body must have needed the extra rest after yesterday’s challenges. It’s okay. I should trust my body. I already feel much better which means I’ll have more energy to get stuff done.

It turns out, I was right. The day went much better than yesterday and I was able to keep plugging away at my family’s laundry. Unfortunately, it started raining unexpectedly in the evening and my work was cut short. To be honest though, I was sort of relieved. I was starting to feel pretty tired and now I had a good excuse to rest. Thank you God! 🙂

By the way, Brett and I made a beautiful PDF of my favorite resources for suffering souls. I created the content and he made it look fancy with his superduper graphic design skills. It’s available for free to my email subscribers. Click here to sign up and receive 5 Resources for the Suffering Soul.

Reading your blog posts, Ana, I can’t help imagining your van as an old covered wagon, and you and Brett living on the wagon trail, camping out with other travelers. 😀 Then, I realized, how awesome it is that you live in a time when we understand more about mold and how to avoid it, how to decontaminate, and you can live “on the road” while still having access to clean water, internet access, and your family can come visit you. I don’t know if you’ve ever read “Love Comes Softly”, but when I think of all the troubles the character Marty went through, I’m extra glad to be living in 2017 (even though I still admire the old west, from a safe distance :D)
