We’re Moving In!

Guess what?! Less than an hour after I finished writing Wednesday’s blog post Brett came to tell me that he got a call from the apartment complex. Our application was accepted! They said we could move in on Monday (Today 😊)! Yipeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!

It’s hard to believe that this is really happening! Living indoors seemed like a distant dream when we were driving all over Nevada and sleeping in the front seats of our tiny rental car. I still can’t believe we actually did that. It’s amazing how tough humans can be when our lives are being threatened. You don’t question it, you just do what you have to do to survive.

Yesterday was our last day of camping and it just so happened to be exactly six months from our first day of tent camping in Death Valley. The camping newbies survived six months of wilderness living! Wow!

We’re beyond grateful for the healing that I’ve experienced during this time in nature. Our mold avoidance expirement has been even more successful than I dared to hope. I’m not 100% yet, but I am on the way. And it’s so exciting to think that my reactivity has gone down enough that we are even considering living in a building.
